Quality Assurance – QA Lab Technician II 1st shift Jobs in Windsor, CT at Chromalloy
American Alloy is a Metal Fabrication Shop in Spokane, WA. We are innovative and fast-paced and manufacture many different products.
Work with moderate supervision inspecting materials and products according to customer specifications, standards, and drawings. Recommend disposition and corrective action when necessary. Assist in the shipping of products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to read Fabrication drawings, Engineering Assembly drawings and Bills of Materials
·Inspection of product to various customer workmanship standards using appropriate toolsAbility to use various types of measurement tools
Follow written and verbal instruction
Write Supplier Corrective Actions
Perform first article inspections
Strong computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems
Qualifications:
Prefer AA degree in basic electronics or equivalent
1-3 years QA experience in electronics, quality control or manufacturing
Occasional lift/carry or push/pull up to 70 lbs
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment

Occasionally an employee will lift/carry or push/pull up to 70 pounds with frequent lifting up to 30 pounds, crouch/kneel, bend/twist at the waist, climb stairs, talk, and fine finger manipulation.Physical agility required for working in and around various sizes of large product enclosures and computers.
This is a day shift position, Monday – Friday, with a somewhat flexible schedule, starting at 10 to Noon and ending from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
