About the Job:
This individual will serve as the Mid-South Machine Shop Principal Quality Assurance Inspector. More specifically, they will be responsible for inspecting crusher equipment (mining) upon arrival and after each repair phase to ensure requirements and standards are maintained through welding, machining, and assembly processes.
What You’ll Do:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Document and maintain records of quality results.
Monitor quality trends and develop process improvements.
Support customers through means of communicating to ensure performance standards are maintained.
Provide leadership, guidance, and training as it relates to quality assurance to the finance team throughout the transformation process.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills You’ll Need:
Degree is essential but not required.
Minimum 5 years of mechanical or machining experience required.
Familiarity with quality control standards, various testing methods, and inspection equipment.
Experience with CNC Programming ability is a plus.
Ability to read micrometers and blueprints required.
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization (oral and written).
Excellent interpersonal skills to develop /maintain collaborative relationships.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
