QUALITY ASSURANCE – Quality Assurance 1st shift Jobs in Marion, OH at Wyandot Snacks
Providence Mutual is looking for a part-time employee to work closely with IT development staff to provide appropriate testing and documentation for projects. This person will be responsible for writing and executing test plans, documenting issues, and collaborating with the Developers and Business Analysts for issue resolution.
Major Areas of Responsibility
· Design and execute test plans, scenarios and procedures
· Conduct compatibility tests for programs, hardware, network or mobile environments
· Document software defects using a tracking system. Report defects and collaborate with IT developers to create corrective measures
· Participate in post-production rollout verification
· Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned
Position Requirements
· Detail oriented with strong analytical; critical thinking and problem resolution skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
· Familiarity with various browsers and mobile devices
· Ability to work independently as well as function as a strong member of team
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
Knowledge & Experience
· Associates Degree or 3+ years’ work experience
· Prior testing experience preferred
Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance highly beneficial
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 29 per week
