JOB DESCRIPTION:
- QAQC Officer is responsible for assurance quality and work-done inspection.
- Responsible for taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
- Responsible for preparation and closure of Non-conformance (NCR) and Site Instructions.
- Act as a Draftsman in a Project
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
- Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
- Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
- Report to the Construction Manager and Project Manager and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS.
- Control and keep maintain all documentations from start to finish
- Liaise with the Construction Manager and Project Manager for all issues relating to submission of material, testing, design, variation…
- Ensure proper application of Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
- Communicate effectively at all times with clients, partners and all persons affected by the project, representing Freyssinet with professionalism, integrity and honesty.
- Attend and takes notes of any meetings relevant to the project.
- To report to his manager any unsafe situations, all types of incidents (including near miss accidents, PPE not worn, hazardous conditions …)
- Ensure best Ethics practices are enforced within all technical support department activities
- Function as a Draftsman
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related course
- with atleast 3 to 5 years experience as QAQC Engineer
- Familiarity with industry standards
