We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA/QC Engineer – Civil to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control for villa developments and high-rise building projects with reputable main contracting companies in the UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) in accordance with project specifications and company procedures.
- Prepare, review, and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Quality Plans, and Inspection Requests (IRs).
- Conduct inspections and ensure all civil works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with Consultants, Clients, Subcontractors, and Site Teams to obtain approvals and close inspection requests.
- Identify non-conformities (NCRs), monitor corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure.
- Review material submittals, material inspections, and supplier quality documentation.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, testing reports, and handover documentation.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and international quality standards.
- Support project handover by ensuring all quality documentation is complete and approved.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of total experience, with at least 4-5 years as a QA/QC Engineer in a UAE main contracting company.
- Experience in villa construction and high-rise building projects.
- Strong knowledge of: QA/QC procedures and quality management systems, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), material inspections and testing, method Statements, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Requests for Inspection (RFIs/IRs).
- Snagging, testing, commissioning, and project handover procedures
- Good understanding of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and consultant inspection processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
