We are currently looking for several QA QC Civil Engineers for our clients in Sweden. These would be 12+ months contract roles.
Job Title: QA/QC Civil Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Perform QA/QC inspections for all civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, procedures, and applicable standards.
- Review and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures for civil works.
- Conduct inspections of earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, structural steel, roads, drainage, and underground services.
- Verify material approvals, material receiving inspections, and traceability requirements.
- Coordinate and witness site inspections, testing activities, and third-party inspections.
- Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
- Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, and corrective actions.
- Liaise with construction teams, subcontractors, client representatives, and quality teams to resolve quality issues.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Civil Engineer on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, steel plant, energy, mining, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction activities including concrete works, structural steel, earthworks, foundations, and infrastructure works.
- Experience with inspections, testing, quality documentation, ITPs, and NCR management.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and international construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Fluent English is required.
- Willingness to work full-time onsite in Sweden.
- Right to work in Sweden
