Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
Professional License: Must be a licensed Civil or Mechanical Engineer.
Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC).
Skills & Knowledge: Structural design or reviewing plans for site implementation purposes.
Location Requirement: Must be willing to work full-time at the Calatagan Cement Plant project site.
Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer will oversee construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks. The role demands attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality results on time and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Construction Phase:
Conduct site inspections based on the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Field Inspection Checklist (FIC).
Collaborate with the Construction Management Group to optimize the use of ITP and FIC at the site and recommend improvements.
Prepare and submit detailed site inspection reports.
2. Administrative Tasks:
Attend QAQC training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
Draft and issue necessary memos specific to the projects being handled.
3. Coordination & Support:
Collaborate with the Quality Management Group office team to address concerns regarding project plans and site implementation.
Ensure alignment between design plans and on-site execution across various disciplines.
