The Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) Leader role leads quality activities within an automotive-related manufacturing environment. The position takes ownership of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions, supports compliance with IATF 16949, and works across functions to strengthen quality processes and meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA and QC activities within the automotive-related manufacturing environment
- Handle customer documentation and required formats in English to a professional standard
- Take ownership of PPAP submissions and ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Apply IATF 16949 standards across QA/QC operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition PPAP responsibilities from Sales to QA/QC
- Perform QA/QC activities, including inspections, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Report quality performance and maintain compliance with company and industry standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience within the automotive industry
- Advanced knowledge of IATF 16949
- Proven experience leading PPAP processes
