Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site QA/QC Manager role based in Warsaw. The employee will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company’s quality management system in line with relevant standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include documenting and updating procedures, coordinating internal audits, monitoring compliance, and supporting corrective and preventive actions. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, research, and operations teams to ensure that product development and manufacturing processes meet defined quality requirements. The QA/QC Manager will also contribute to training staff on quality-related practices and help prepare documentation for external audits and certifications. Moreover, the employee will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production processes (placing orders, preparing documentation, testing, releasing products, and shipping them to customers).
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ISO-13485 requirements, project management and organizational skills, and internal auditor competences.
- Experience (2+ years) with quality management systems, including development, implementation, and continuous improvement in a technical or engineering environment.
- Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements applicable to medical devices or industrial diagnostic systems (e.g., ISO standards, quality and compliance frameworks).
- Strong skills in documentation, process mapping, and audit preparation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly, and provide guidance on quality-related topics.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose corrective actions, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, biomedical engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications in quality or regulatory affairs are an advantage.
- Prior experience in medical ultrasound systems, or other regulated technical industries is beneficial.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills and familiarity with Polish regulatory context are a plus.
