Overview
BTI Security is accepting applications for a Full-Time QA/QC Manager. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Job Skills / Requirements
Inspecting Contracts: Ensure contract compliance from the beginning of the request for proposal process through the management of each contract.
Recording: Record quality issues and investigate causes of non-compliance.
Improving processes: propose ways to improve processes and procedures to reduce compliance issues and improve company infrastructure.
Training: Train Contract and Program managers on compliance systems, policies and procedures.
Communication: Able to communicate effectively across all departments to identify and solve issues before they happen.
Documenting: Track, document and report quality issues to senior management.
Meet deadlines: Ability to meet deadlines set by the COO or President of the company.
Reporting: Report results of inspections and findings to COO or President of the company.
Auditing: Ability to audit contracts for non-conformity to contractual obligations as found in the contract, statement of work, or performance work statement.
Maintenance: Once contracts have reached a level of compliance, continue to assess to ensure they stay compliant throughout the life of the contract.
Development: Develop checklists and spreadsheets as guides to assist in auditing contracts.
Required Qualifications
Minimum associate’s degree from an accredited university.
3-5 years’ experience in a QA/C role, preferably in the security profession.
Strong understanding of contracts and statements of work.
Strong understanding of State Licensing laws, or the ability to become proficient.
Previous work experience in and knowledge of government contracting regulations.
Friendly, confident, and a positive attitude.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to influence and partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and employee engagement.
