The Role:
As a QA/QC Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control processes across HVAC and mechanical installations in data centres. You will work closely with project teams, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards, while continuously improving quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform material, equipment, and installation inspections.
Conduct particle sampling analysis.
Prepare conformance/non-conformance reports.
Document and archive records as per published TFS procedures.
Obtain client approval and sign-off on benchmarks.
Create Safety Observation Reports.
Walk the site with the supervisor to identify snags.
Conduct W2 walk to ensure snags are completed and photograph finished systems.
Arrange walkdowns with the client.
Carry out pressure testing (hydrostatic & pneumatic), Megger testing, drain testing, vacuum testing, and base charge. Coordinate with the site team and plan testing dates.
Update the client’s testing tracker and prepare test packs for each system tested.
Compile photographs of completed tests and prepare test packs for client approval and signature.
Upload paperwork to the CA database, client team folders, and quality tracker.
Attend planning and commissioning (CX) meetings.
Maintain internal tracking by updating the internal matrix with all testing and quality checks daily.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager (PM).
Skills & Experience:
3+ years of experience
Data centre experience construction projects preferred (not essential).
Experience in construction, process equipment or piping industries.
Must have had experience on construction sites.
Health & Safety awareness on site.
Safe pass
Manual Handling
MEWP or IPAF certificate (not essential).
Micros soft suit, Excel, Word.
BIM experience would be an advantage.
