POSITION TITLE: Quality Control Specialist
REPORTS TO: QC Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards, including ISO while contributing to the overall quality assurance efforts of the organization.
Duties
Conduct thorough quality inspections of raw materials and finished products using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers and lab test equipment.
Perform quality audits to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.
Utilize vision inspection systems to detect defects and ensure product integrity.
Collect and analyze research data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Document findings accurately and maintain records of inspections, tests, and audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute to the development of quality control protocols.
Experience
Proven experience in quality control or laboratory settings is preferred.
3+ Years of experience in Quality Control
3+ Years working in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ISO standards and CGMP regulations is highly desirable.
SAP experience such as Acumatica is highly desirable.
Experience conducting quality audits and utilizing vision inspection systems is a plus.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers is essential.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on research data collection and interpretation.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be able to climb a ladder
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
