This position is in a heavy industrial fabrication setting.
Responsibilities:
– Must have experience in visually checking quality or physically testing a product for its intended use and make sure it performs up to the manufacturer’s specifications.
– Must have experience reading drawings for quality assurance purposes.
– Must have the ability to utilize technical capacity skills, organizational skills, and problem solving/analytical skills. In addition, must be able to utilize time management and initiative.
– Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
– Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications.
– Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications.
– Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.
Requirements:
– Must have experience in heavy structural fabrication.
– Must be 18 years or older.
– Must have 6 months to a year of recent and relevant work experience as a Quality Control Quality Assurance Associate.
– Must be able to pass a drug test and background screen.
– 6 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday (some weekends, as needed).
– Possess a valid driver’s license.
– Physically able to lift parts and components that weigh up to forty pounds.
– Must be able to work independently and work well in team environment.
