About the Role
On behalf of our client in the Pharmacy industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Specialist ready to take on new challenges.
Your Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Experience in all types of testing including functional white box, black box and non-functional testing.
Experience with SQL queries and databases (Sybase, MS SQL Server).
Experience working in fast paced Agile (Scrum / Kanban) environment.
Experience with Atlassian Software Confluence and Jira.
Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and high-quality completion of assigned tasks.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
Your Qualifications
Education/Experience:
5+ years’ experience in pharmacy dispensing system .
3 Years experience in Nexxsys or Propel
5+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role.
A degree in Pharmacy or related field.
Key Skills:
Experience testing with a variety of environments and technologies (.NET, Java, Client/Server, Web Services).
Experience with mobile apps (nice-to-have).
Understanding of system operations, VPNs, etc
Personal Qualities:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
