We are looking for a Quality Controller/Assurance Specialist with at least 2 years of experience in the UAE, specifically in quality management systems, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food processing and a passion for maintaining and improving food safety and quality standards.
Job Location: Sharjah
Salary: AED 4,500 to 5,000/-
Responsibilities:
Ensure strict compliance with GMP, HACCP, and local food safety regulations throughout the manufacturing process.
Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards.
Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits by regulatory bodies and clients.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of quality control records, SOPs, and inspection reports.
Identify non-conformities and work collaboratively with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Assist in developing and maintaining the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Train and guide production staff on quality-related procedures and hygiene standards.
Liaise with suppliers and external laboratories for product testing and quality verification.
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of quality assurance experience in the UAE, with specific exposure to GMP and HACCP systems.
Experience in food processing, either locally or internationally, is required.
Knowledge of UAE food safety regulations and ESMA standards is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
