Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards before they are shipped to customers. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of our operations within a fast-paced distribution center environment.
Duties
Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately.
Utilize MRP systems and AS400 software for tracking inventory and managing orders.
Operate pallet jacks and other equipment safely to move products within the facility.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve quality issues efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
Apply basic math skills to measure product dimensions and weights as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a distribution center or e-commerce environment is preferred.
Familiarity with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes.
Proficiency in using MRP systems; experience with AS400 is a plus.
Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
