Role Description This full-time, remote Quality Assurance Specialist role is responsible for supporting and improving the quality management framework that underpins line maintenance operations. On a day-to-day basis, the specialist will review documentation, maintenance records, and procedures to verify compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. The role includes analyzing quality data, identifying trends or nonconformities, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The specialist will participate in or support internal and external audits, contribute to the development and refinement of quality procedures, and assist in training team members on quality-related processes. Collaboration with maintenance, operations, and management teams is essential to drive consistent quality, safety, and operational performance across all locations.
Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to evaluate processes, verify compliance, and ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Experience with Quality Management practices, including developing, implementing, and improving quality systems and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similarly structured regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply standardized quality principles to maintenance operations.
  • Background in Quality Auditing, including planning, conducting, and reporting on internal or external audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and propose practical corrective actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing clear reports, procedures, and training materials.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and collaborate across distributed teams.
  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, or maintenance operations is preferred; familiarity with relevant regulations and standards is an advantage.
  • Relevant certification or training in quality management or auditing (e.g., ISO, ASQ) is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, aviation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
