Pay Rate: 28-33/hr
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience as a technical QA in an email/digital environment
- Hands on marketing campaign experience
- Can clearly explain end to end QA process
Digital Specific:
- Hands on marketing campaign testing experience
- Understand trigger logic (entry/exit criteria), rendering (in outlook, gmail, mobile), and tracking (clicks, opens)
Creative Specific:
- The ability to think from a brand/customer perspective (QA email creative for layout, content accuracy, links, rendering, and brand consistency)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience working at a marketing agency
Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a Technical QA to join a leading banking client within their marketing team. This is a hybrid role and requires 3x/week on site Chicago. The Technical QA adheres to an established checklist and process to ensure all emails, automations, and customer journeys work perfectly- links, personalization, audience, automation- before anything goes live. This role involves close collaboration with the email, campaign, and development teams. Responsibilities:
- QA technical implementation (dynamic content behavior, data- driven logic, basic validations).
- Validate functional requirements, links, tracking parameters, and rendering.
- Execute testing in Litmus and document defects clearly.
- Ensure compliance with defined process/checklists; validate post-fix readiness.
