Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by creating and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and working closely with cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in the software development lifecycle, providing early QA feedback during requirement reviews and supporting the validation of UAT and production releases.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, your responsibilities will include performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing, along with API testing and basic database validation. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs
  • Create, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  • Identify, log, track, and retest defects using bug tracking tools
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to clarify requirements
  • Participate in requirement reviews to provide early QA feedback
  • Perform API testing (if applicable) and basic database validation
  • Support UAT and production release validation
  • Contribute to improving QA processes and documentation
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of load testing and test automation concepts, with exposure to tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks

Requirements:

  • 1–1.5 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Writing test cases and test scenarios
  • Manual testing methodologies
  • Defect lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
  • Basic understanding of load testing and test automation; familiarity with frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools is a plus
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and documentation skills

Other Specification
