Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Technician will oversee the quality control processes at HCD, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will play a key role in performing quality assurance initiatives, managing inspection processes, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to support our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform the Quality Assurance (QA) functions in day-to-day activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and systems for wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
Inspect products at various stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.
Conduct internal audits and manage external audits when necessary to maintain compliance with industry standards and certifications.
Collaborate with the production team to resolve any quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Document and maintain records of quality inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred).
Proven experience (3+ years) in a quality assurance or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of quality control processes, methodologies, and standards (ISO, IPC, etc.).
Experience with electrical wire harnesses, cable assemblies, or related products is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
