Base Pay Range
$55,000.00/yr – $63,000.00/yr

Job Summary
Support the Quality Manager in sustaining the quality system, managing KPI reporting, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Assist with quality planning and provide guidance to personnel to ensure compliance with internal policies, customer requirements, and industry standards.
Job Duties
Manage and maintain the quality system, including plans, documentation, procedures, and training.
Address internal and external quality issues, overseeing corrective and preventive actions.
Support contract reviews and customer change requests related to quality.
Ensure proper inspection processes, personnel, and methods for incoming materials, final QC, rework, scrap evaluation, and supplier quality.
Conduct audits to verify compliance with internal quality standards, customer requirements, and external regulations such as AAR and ISO.
Oversee inspection and testing equipment, including calibration programs.
Maintain quality records, including training, inspections, testing, and customer documentation.
Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors while managing the approved vendor list.
Coordinate customer inspections, inquiries, and follow-ups.
Develop and deliver quality training for production staff.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree highly preferred
3 years’ experience as supervisor or quality lead in a manufacturing environment
Experience with auditing and equipment inspection
AIAG Core Tools
Requires working knowledge and expertise in areas including machining, welding, assembly, mechanical devices
Previous training or ability to be trained on practical application of quality tools including SPC, FMEA, Process Mapping, Control Plans, M-1003 or has/ is Greenbelt Certified/Trained
Read and understand precision instruments, gauges, blueprints, and technical drawings
ASQ certification is a plus
