About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated QA Specialist to join a technology team responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of mission-critical trading and pricing systems. In this role, you will act as a key quality gatekeeper, validating software releases before deployment into simulation and production environments.
You will work on sophisticated trading platforms and theoretical pricing systems that support derivatives markets, helping to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of applications used across trading and risk management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and execute functional, technical, and performance testing activities for trading and pricing applications.
- Manage and organize testing activities, including scope, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test models, frameworks, and scripts.
- Collaborate closely with development, business, and operations teams to ensure high software quality standards.
- Investigate and support production and simulation environment issues and ad hoc inquiries.
- Validate software releases and contribute to release readiness assessments.
- Ensure applications meet business, technical, and performance requirements before deployment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in Economics, Financial Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
- Proven experience in software testing, including functional, technical, and performance testing.
- Strong understanding of option pricing models and derivatives products.
- Good knowledge of derivatives markets and trading system functionality.
- Experience with test automation and scripting.
- Python scripting experience is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
