Basic Purpose:

This is an entry level position for an individual with some basic prior laboratory experience. The individual will perform routine and limited non-routine functions to aid in the quality assurance testing of samples.

MUST’S:

Ability to follow Instruction (If you are not exceptional at following instruction, this is not for you)
have a clean drivers license
Pass a full FBI background check

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Work in fast paced, dynamic environment.
water/moisture station
QC’ing COAs prior to release
Updating the order board
Digitizing orders received and organized into appropriate client folders,
Reviewing completed sample preparation documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Coordinating, acquiring, organizing and overseeing MSDS, chemical COCs, and equipment calibration COCs and timeliness for re-testing or disposal.
Ensuring equipment list is up-to-date and complete.
Master vendor annual review.
NCE timelines for review and monitoring.
Additional initiatives generated during management reviews.
Prepare samples for analysis using various methods in accordance with ISO standard operating procedures.
Data handling and report preparation.
Perform basic laboratory cleaning
Maintain laboratory wash station

An ideal candidate would possess:

A B.S in Physics, Bio-Chemistry, Micro-Bio, or Chemistry. However, we are willing to train the right person.
A great attitude
Self-motivated, responsible individual with good communication skills and willingness to learn and progress over time through consistent dedication and training. The position requires the individual to multi-task, be independent/self-sufficient, and be flexible and participate in a team environment.
Quality Control experience.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high pressure environment, while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Conscientious and responsible.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.25 – $23.00 per hour
