This role helps make sure our credit decisions are sound, consistent, and aligned with our obligations to Kiwi across the motu.

As our Quality Assurance Specialist – Credit, you will complete reviews of credit lending outcomes to ensure decisions are made in line with Kiwibank’s credit policy, business processes, and Delegated Lending Authority. Your mahi provides assurance that we are meeting our regulatory obligations, including CCCFA requirements for suitability and affordability.
You will deliver scheduled Quality Assurance reviews, report insights, and work collaboratively with business teams, Operational Risk and Compliance partners, and learning teams to uplift capability. Your work helps ensure our credit processes, systems and controls are working as intended, contributing directly to better outcomes for our customers and our people.

To be successful, you’ll bring experience in credit, lending or credit analysis, along with a strong ability to identify and assess risk.
You will have:
- Proven experience in credit analysis, lending, or understanding of the credit process within banking
- The ability to identify risk and determine the materiality of findings
- Strong analytical skills, with comfort working with data and identifying trends
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage workload methodically
- Excellent communication skills, able to deliver complex information clearly and tactfully
- The ability to provide coaching and guidance across the business
