POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Specialist works closely with the Director of Compliance to plan, organize, and execute quality assurance projects in managing an independent workload. This role will have a specialization in project management.
Responsibilities And Duties
Maintains and manages an independent workload in the Compliance Department
Assists in managing projects including M-Files projects
Develops and implements process improvements
Oversees and documents assigned quality assurance projects
Oversees and documents activities of assigned quality assurance committees
Maintains and updates physical and electronic contract files and associated documents
Maintains and updates policies and procedures
Assists with various applications, readiness reviews, audits, and other outside requests for current and new contracts
Performs investigations into compliance matters
Administrative and clerical support for implementation of new contracts
Review of new and existing contracts for quality elements
Assisting in analyzing annual agency and participant surveys
Contributions to development and implementation of quality assurance goals
Conducts investigations into compliance issues
Analysis of current operations, data, and files for compliance with contracts, business rules, and legal matters
Assists in the planning of quality assurance and compliance training and presentations
Drafts compliance documents and forms
Prepares materials that promote and communicate quality assurance and compliance internally and externally
Assists staff with questions regarding quality assurance and compliance
Develops and maintains quality assurance and compliance spreadsheets
Assists in maintaining compliance with CARF accreditation standards by tracking, completing, and documenting conformance with the standards
Maintains strict adherence to confidentiality and other applicable legal and contract requirements

EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED
Associate degree preferred
Experience And Qualifications
3 years of experience relevant to the work performed
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, excel, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
Excellent judgment and decision-making skills

Experience with drafting letters, forms and email communications
