The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of QA with strong expertise in Manual Testing and a proven track record of testing Web, Mobile, and UI-based applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Healthcare domain, strong API testing skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, highly analytical, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Candidates with exposure to Generative AI tools and AI-assisted testing methodologies will have a significant advantage.
Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Strong Manual Testing experience
- Hands-on experience testing Web Applications, Mobile Applications & User Interface (UI) Components
- Healthcare or Health Insurance domain experience
- Experience with API testing using Postman or equivalent tools
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA processes
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Experience with accessibility testing (WCAG standards)
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar
- Experience in database validation and backend testing
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end Manual Testing of web, mobile, and UI-based applications
- Create, review, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
- Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar API testing tools
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation activities
- Ensure testing coverage across different platforms, devices, and browsers
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and testing best practices
