Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process. This role involves utilizing various quality assurance tools and techniques to analyze data, conduct inspections, and maintain compliance with industry standards such as ISO 13485, CGMP, and ISO 9001.
Duties
Conduct inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Vision Inspection Systems to assess product quality.
Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in product quality.
Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols including HACCP and relevant ISO standards.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Utilize Calypso software for measurement data analysis and reporting.
Participate in internal audits and assist in the preparation for external audits related to quality management systems.
Requirements
Proven experience in a quality assurance role or similar position within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Vision Inspection Systems is preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 13485, CGMP, ISO 9001, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in using measurement software such as Calypso is a plus.
