Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Label Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the compliance of SMP and customer product labels, including all printed materials. This role involves generating and maintaining documentation to support compliance activities.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Review supplement fact panels against product specifications and regulatory standards, as well as SMP SOP standards.
Collaborate with the Graphics Team to develop labels in accordance with FDA labeling guidelines.
Review printed materials for compliance with regulatory and SMP SOP standards.
Approve incoming labels to ensure they meet compliance requirements.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
Experience in regulatory compliance within the food or dietary supplement industry, particularly with FDA regulations.
Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance activities.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours:
Monday – Friday (40-hours per week)
Salary:
$50,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
