Position Description
You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the Compliance and Quality Department, under the supervision of the Quality Control Inspector (QCI) Division Branch Managers of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will read, interpret, and understand blueprints and specifications to identify product characteristics and process requirements.
You will act as a key stakeholder and process Subject Matter Expert (SME) in developing Inspection Plans (IP).
You will observe task sequence, procedures, and methods to verify alignment to the process plan and technical requirements.
You will review work documents prior to release, and upon completion of work to verify all processing and documentation requirements have been fully executed.
You will inspect, test, or measure products for conformance to technical requirements. Respond promptly to production requests to complete Quality Verification tasks.
You will document issues warranting root-cause analysis and corrective action in the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system of record (i.e. ERAR).
You will perform process surveillance to support program managers and process owners to verify effectiveness of corrective actions and process improvement efforts.
You will provide training and assistance to Artisan Verifiers (AV).
You will review proposed Quality policy changes and provides feedback to optimize the Quality Management System.
