Job Summary
The QC Inspector will use visual inspections, measurements and functional testing of the products that are produced to determine if these products meet quality standards and specifications.
Duties
· Engages with Production, communicates with machine Operators and Supervisors to prevent and resolve any quality issues in the production floor.
· Perform quality checks to meet specifications, including but not limited to, label inspections, batch code inspections, weight claim checks, and physical appearance.
· Prepare online ID.
· Perform line start-up clearance.
· Prepare samples/documents per customer request.
· Perform out-going inspections of finished goods based on ANSI Z-1.4 standards.
· Other duties as required or needed.
Skills
· Must be easily adapt to priority changes and able to work on numerous simultaneous projects to meet established timelines
· Must be extremely detail-oriented and be able to work with minimal supervision
· Proven ability to remain calm while working against a deadline
· Proven ability to work in an efficient and timely manner
· Language skills: English (bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin is a plus), verbal and written skills.
