LEAD Consult is a dynamic, customer oriented company, specialized in providing business and IT consulting services in the energy and financial sectors, as well as in software development and IT outsourcing. Currently, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our company.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze software requirements
• Create, and execute test cases for changes and new functionalities
• Create, document and execute smoke tests to monitor the overall condition of the system
• Create, document and execute regression tests for existing functionalities
• Develop test plans and procedures for all levels of testing and enter them into test case management system
• Execute testing according to test plans and procedures and enter defect reports in tracking system for any issues found
• Provide assessment and report on the overall quality of software
• Participate in software release meetings to assess project status and review test report with project team members
• Participate is requirement analysis and specification review meetings
• Manage defect lifecycle
• Escalate issues to project management when necessary
• Assist development with reproduction and isolation of issues
Requirements:
• More than 3 years of experience in Backend, Web-service based applications and Front- End manual testing
• Experience with automated testing
• Experience with Playwright or equivalent
• Experience with SOAP UI, Postman or similar, for automating API tests
• Experience with Xray is preferred.
• Experience with task tracking software, such as JIRA
• Experience with REST web services
• Experience in writing, managing and executing test cases
• Good knowledge of software development processes
Desired skills and knowledge:
• More than 3 years of manual and automation testing experience (UI and web services)
• Self-sufficient and organized
• Good communication skills
• Good written and verbal English skills
