Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to plan, direct, and/or coordinate quality assurance programs. Formulate quality control policies and control quality of laboratory and production efforts.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement quality management strategy and plans, including resources, systems, timescales, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the organization’s annual business plan and long-term strategy.
Develop and maintain systems to establish standards relating to activities and products.
Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards.
Monitor performance (in relevant areas) according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.
Monitor and inform/communicate/apply standards created/maintained by external bodies, and integrate within internal quality management systems.
Establish and implement necessary communication strategies for the improvement and awareness of quality management systems.
Plan and manage departmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales.
Report as necessary on changes in standards (internally and externally initiated) and on performance against standards.
Liaise and co-operate with quality management and standards bodies (e.g., BSI, Government Departments, HSE, etc.) Manage staff according to company standards. (Appraisals, discipline, training, development, etc.)
Manage departmental performance against agreed targets and budgets, and within policies and standards.
Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary. (where impacting/affecting by quality issues.)
Contribute to executive policy and strategy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and/or coordinate quality assurance programs.
Experience
4-year degree in related field
At least (1) year related experience
At least (5) years’ experience in a leadership role
Proven experience in a Quality Control Manager role or similar position within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality systems.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of clerical activities – administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Word processing, Excel, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
