The Role
• Lead quality assurance efforts for mission-critical applications supporting U.S. Navy maintenance and readiness.
• Establish and maintain QA processes throughout the entire system development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• Ensure systems meet stringent DoD, Navy, and NAVSEA quality standards and compliance requirements.
What You'll Need
• Bachelor's degree (STEM preferred) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Proven experience establishing and maintaining QA processes across the system lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
• Experience supporting testing across complex, integrated systems and multiple environments.
• Proficiency with defect tracking tools and test management frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to support DoD/Navy programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
