Position Overview
- Role: QA Specialist / QA Coordinator
- Location: Chennai (Prestige Polygon, Teynampet)
- Work Mode: Full-time Onsite (WFO only)
- Experience Required: 4 to 8 years
- Employment Type: Full-time (FTE)
- Salary Range: Up to 7 LPA
- Shifts: Rotational shifts including night shifts
- Relocation Support: Available for eligible candidates
- Interview Mode: In-person or virtual as required
Primary Skills Required
- JIRA (Defect lifecycle management and reporting)
- BrowserStack (Cross-browser / cross-device testing)
- Litmus / Email on Acid (Email QA validation)
- Figma-based visual QA (pixel-perfect validation)
- Accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1 AA compliance)
- Basic automation exposure (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Execute structured QA testing across multiple digital deliverables using defined checklists
- Manage end-to-end defect lifecycle in JIRA, including logging, tracking, validation, and closure
- Perform Figma-to-build visual validation ensuring pixel-level accuracy
- Conduct cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-email-client testing before client delivery
- Perform accessibility audits aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and document findings
- Maintain and continuously improve QA checklists based on recurring issues and new patterns
- Provide QA sign-off reports with clear status updates and risk identification
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Prepare test cases in a format suitable for future automation implementation
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in QA within digital agency, software, or interactive production environments
- Hands-on experience across multiple deliverable types including web, email, banners, and interactive assets
- Strong expertise in JIRA for defect tracking and reporting
- Exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress preferred)
- Experience in accessibility testing tools such as axe, WAVE, or Lighthouse
- Healthcare or pharma domain experience will be an added advantage
Important Notes
- Candidates must be comfortable working full-time onsite in Chennai
- Rotational shift flexibility, including night shifts, is mandatory
