QA Engineer
String is building the OS layer for schools — connecting existing learning apps into one seamless experience with a single login, a unified data layer, and real-time AI personalization. We're not another LMS. We're the infrastructure that makes the entire EdTech ecosystem work together.
What you'll do
- Own quality end-to-end as our first dedicated QA hire
- Test across web (React), mobile (React Native), and APIs (Django REST)
- Build automated test suites to catch regressions before release
- Help define QA processes, release standards, and quality culture
What we're looking for
- 2–5 years of QA experience (manual and automation)
- Experience testing web, APIs, and mobile applications
- Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Postman
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and user-focused thinking
