Job Title: Packaging and Quality Technician (Part-Time)
Location: Livonia, Michigan
Position Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours per week)

Job Purpose:
The Packaging and Quality Technician is responsible for supporting various packaging, quality control, and production processes. This part-time role will ensure accurate packaging, perform quality checks, and assist in the feeding, maintenance, and inventory of biological products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Packaging and Fulfillment:
Assist with packaging orders on time, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company specifications.
Organize and maintain packaging materials and related tools.
2. Quality Control and Inspection:
Conduct regular quality checks on packaging and products to ensure they meet internal standards.
Assist in final product inspections before shipping to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
3. Biological Product Management:
Assist in feeding and maintaining biological products, ensuring proper care for their viability.
Manage population levels, supporting the production team in handling any required adjustments.
4. Inventory and Storage Management:
Track and maintain inventory of biological products and packaging materials.
Ensure products are stored under proper conditions and that stock levels are managed effectively.
4. Administrative Support:
Provide administrative assistance in packaging documentation, inventory tracking, and updating reports.
Key Criteria/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Entomology or Biology or a related field.
Experience working with biological insects.
Familiarity with SAP for inventory and procurement data management.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
