2. About the Opportunity:
The Quality Assurance Specialist II role is designed to develop and manage a data-driven quality assurance framework within the Customer Operations team. This position is critical for identifying systemic quality issues and driving improvements that enhance customer experience and reduce unresolved issues. It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed quality standards into operational and strategic planning.
3. Responsibilities:
• Design and manage QA programs including sampling, audit cadence, and scoring aligned with strategy.
• Build feedback loops from audits, interaction data, and automation to identify quality issues.
• Translate QA data into actionable insights for prioritization across teams.
• Develop dashboards to monitor quality, calibration, trends, and remediation progress.
• Lead calibration efforts for internal and vendor auditors.
• Create and maintain SOPs, scorecards, and playbooks with proper version control.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring failures and track remediation impact.
• Participate as a strategic partner in cross-functional planning forums.
• Drive vendor QA performance through coaching, calibration, and remediation.
• Coach and mentor vendor support staff.
• Foster a culture of proactive quality ownership and continuous improvement.
4. Requirements:
• 5+ years experience in quality assurance, audit, or operational quality in high-scale or regulated environments.
• Proven ownership of QA/control programs with measurable impact.
• Strong data analysis and dashboard/reporting skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Ops Enablement, Vendor Management, Product, and Compliance.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Background in financial services or fintech.
• Expertise in designing scalable QA frameworks and calibration programs.
• Ability to analyze complex data and systemic quality issues.
• Experience influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
• Familiarity with servicing operations, vendor QA models, and compliance.
• Customer-focused problem-solving approach.
• Preferred: Vendor QA management and experience with automation-enabled QA tools.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $60,000 – $80,000
• USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $53,000 – $73,000
• Compensation includes equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits with 100% subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents.
