Quality Auditor

Job Description:
The Quality Auditor will be responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established quality standards. The successful candidate will be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and have knowledge of quality systems and standards, inspection techniques, and simple measurement instrument usage. The Quality Auditor will be capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards
Perform Gage R&R and capability studies
Identify and report quality issues to management
Ensure that corrective actions are taken to address quality issues
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Write simple correspondence and present information effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
Perform simple math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Familiar with Microsoft Office (ex: Excel, Word, Outlook)
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
Relative experience is preferred, but not required
