Position Summary: The quality technician is responsible for the inspection of product quality using specifications given.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in maintaining customer drawings and specifications.
2. Provide all necessary paperwork to the shop floor for production.
3. Provide all necessary measuring equipment and tools for production.
4. Calibrate all measuring instruments in house and maintain instruments.
5. Assist in maintenance of the ISO 9001 program.
6. Report and assist in answering any questions on customer specifications brought forth
by the production employees.
7. Regularly inspect material being produced.
8. Aid in evaluation that all quality procedures are being followed and implemented.
Qualifications:
1. Working knowledge of measurement techniques.
2. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
4. Ability to communicate techniques to employees.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to stand for an extended period.
2. Some minimal lifting is required.
3. Ability to work on the computer for an extended time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $21.00 per hour
