We are seeking a qualified Quality Control Supervisor to join our Team. Below is not a complete job description and other duties could be assigned as required by business conditions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow all PPE and safety rules within the plant.
Promote a safe and healthy work environment on all company property to achieve the best working conditions for all employees and visitors.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
As an employee, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with customers, visitors, and other employees.
Support the marketing team in the evaluation of product requirements, testing, and corrective action.
Manage external testing as required to support label claims, diagnose problems, or for research.
Lead efforts to achieve sustainability certifications.
Perform quality checks on mats during the production process for defects, correct dimensions, color, and durability.
Ensure products are labeled correctly.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Requires Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Communication skills to be able to train and a large or small groups.
Two or more years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment
Previous experience in testing and compliance preferred.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent math, time management and organizational skills
Must be very detail oriented and accurate in a fast-paced environment.
Must have good problem solving and/or research skills.
Pass drug screen and meet acceptable criminal background requirements.
Demonstrated attitude of safety and quality as top priorities
Ability to work overtime schedules including other weekends and OT as required.
