Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to assess vehicle conditions and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with both power and hand tools. The Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining quality assurance within our operations.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to perform inspections and minor repairs as needed.
Evaluate auto restoration projects for quality and adherence to specifications.
Document findings from inspections, including any required repairs or maintenance recommendations.
Collaborate with mechanics and automotive service teams to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Perform heavy lifting as required during inspections or when moving equipment.
Requirements
Proven experience in automotive repair, auto body repair, or related fields.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle issues.
Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and automotive service techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting findings.
A valid driver’s license is preferred.
