Quality Assurance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the high standards required by our customers. You’ll learn RMC’s processes and techniques, perform detailed in-process and final inspections, and work closely with Engineering and Production to promote, maintain and improve quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
Learn and understand RMC manufacturing processes to perform thorough inspections
Follow work instructions to assist in transforming raw components into finished products
Conduct visual and machine testing of finished products
Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all quality standards
Accurately enter data and maintain detailed inspection records
Collaborate with Engineering to improve processes and ensure accountability
Uphold customer expectations by identifying and resolving quality issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluent in reading, writing, and understanding English
Basic knowledge of measuring equipment
Basic knowledge of GD&T
General understanding & knowledge of how to read a drawing/blueprint
Ability to stay focused and on task, regardless of what other people are doing
Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; typing speed of at least 50 WPM
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to sit, stand, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
