Join our client as a
Quality Assurance
Technician, where you will work closely with the Operations Manager and various teams to maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with ISO/BRC GS across all business areas. This role is crucial for ensuring that goods are produced to specification and to the correct standard in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Day-to-day of the role:
Collaborate with Production teams to ensure products are made to specification and meet the required standards.
Manage and log Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) in the quality system for internal and supplier non-conformances, conduct investigations, and create reports as required.
Assist in maintaining the document control system to ensure all records are current and accessible.
Manage Calibrations and Maintenance schedules and oversee their execution.
Conduct scheduled audits of the quality systems and report all non-conformances.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager on the implementation of KPIs, including data collection and analysis for quality improvements.
Promote waste minimization procedures through
continuous improvement
initiatives.
Assist in the management of supplier performance and create technical quality reports (FAIR).Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a
Quality Assurance
Technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of ISO and BRC GS standards.
Excellent organizational and
critical thinking
skills.
Strong communication skills
and ability to work effectively within a team.
Proficiency in managing document control systems and conducting quality audits.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of
continuous improvement
processes and waste minimization techniques.
