Quality Matters Here. So Does Your Work.
Grafika is a growing printing and packaging manufacturer producing high-quality paperboard packaging and pressure-sensitive labels for customers across a variety of industries.
We combine advanced manufacturing technology, strong quality systems, and experienced people to deliver products our customers can count on.
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our second-shift team ( 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM). This is a hands-on quality role for someone who enjoys being out on the production floor, working with people, solving problems, and making sure the product leaving our facility meets both customer expectations and Grafika’s standards.
If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and take pride in getting things right, we’d like to meet you.
What You’ll Do
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll work closely with production and operations to support quality throughout the manufacturing process.
You will:
· Perform quality inspections and checks to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal standards.
· Provide hands-on quality support and guidance to production teams.
· Follow and help reinforce established safety, GMP, food safety, and quality procedures.
· Identify quality concerns and work collaboratively with production to address issues.
· Review and analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
· Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions related to customer complaints and internal quality issues.
· Support Grafika’s SQF and ISO quality systems and certification requirements.
· Assist with internal and external audits and ensure assigned corrective actions are completed.
· Prepare customer Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and maintain raw-material COA documentation.
· Assist with quality KPI tracking and reporting.
· Coordinate and participate in product rework activities when necessary.
· Support trials and quality evaluations for new products and processes.
· Provide quality-related training as needed.
· Participate in continuous-improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
What We’re Looking For
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or safety experience preferred.
· Two to three years of relevant experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in candidates with strong manufacturing experience who are ready to grow into quality.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and help troubleshoot problems.
· Comfortable communicating and working with employees across different departments and levels of the organization.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Reliable, accountable, and comfortable working independently when needed.
· Experience with SQF, ISO, GMP, food safety, or other regulated quality systems is a plus.
