The QA Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet quality specifications and industry standards. This individual will perform inspections, conduct testing, and work closely with production teams to identify and correct quality issues. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, has a passion for quality, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain calibration of measuring, test equipment, and instruments in accordance with QA procedures.
  • Assist the leadership and other personnel in the implementation and maintenance of the QA system in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Standards.
  • Calibrate and operate inspection and test equipment (devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Assist in the QA testing and QA inspecting of various areas of production.
  • Assist in responding to and implementing solutions to customer issued corrective action, complaints, and requests.
  • Compile and examine statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability.
  • Complete high-volume number of clerical duties to include a large amount of documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Assist in maintaining QA document control system.
  • Assist in both internal and external QA audits.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain records of inspections.
  • Maintain calibration of measuring, test equipment and instruments in accordance with QA procedures.
  • Perform and document QA process audits as well as final and incoming QA inspections.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in quality or manufacturing-related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control standards and procedures (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
  • Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills; experience with quality software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with production teams.

Open Schedule:

  • 1st shift: Monday – Thursday, 6am-4:30pm.

Pay: $26 – $30 per hour
