About the Role
You will support the QA Manager on daily quality testing and projects across our labware line. This is a strong entry point into quality assurance. You will build your analytical and communication skills, learn our testing and clean-room methods hands-on, and help resolve product quality issues using the tools and data around you.
We want someone self-motivated who works well on a team and alone, and who stays curious when tracking a defect back to its source. In a clean-room, ISO-certified operation, your attention to detail directly protects the product our customers depend on.
What You’ll Do
- Pull samples from the production floor in a fast-paced setting
- Set up and run multiple quality tests on labware components
- Measure and inspect samples for dimensional and optical accuracy
- Compile statistical data with precision
- Build charts and graphs in MS Excel
- Prepare clear reports on test results
- Support quality documentation such as certificates of quality and BSE/TSE compliance statements
- Flag material and defect issues to management for analysis and disposition
- Learn specialized testing methods through on-the-job training
- Follow all clean-room, safety, and PPE requirements
- Take on related research and tasks as needed
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma required. College coursework in a science or technical field is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Solid quantitative and qualitative reasoning
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to follow directions closely
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, both with a team and with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with standard quality management systems (QMS). ISO or clean-room experience is a plus
Work Environment
This role includes time on the production floor and in a controlled clean-room setting. Expect gowning requirements and periods of standing, lifting materials, and working around molding equipment where heat, humidity, and noise may be present. We provide the training and PPE to do this work safely.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
