Quality Assurance Technician 1st Shift Jobs in Columbia, SC at Fresh Express
Summary: Performs inspections on machined and assembled products to requirements and standards and is responsible for other department functions or tasks as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Inspects manufactured and received products or services to their requirements.*
2. Performs calibration of monitoring and measuring equipment.*
3. Completes documentation of inspections, calibrations, and results by records.*
4. Completes first article inspections, drawing mappings, validation inspection and documentation.*
5. Communicates results of inspections and other issues to relevant personnel.*
6. Uses standard measuring and monitoring equipment to perform inspections.*
7. Provides secondary visual inspections for operators as needed.*
8. Maintains inspection log and documents nonconforming products.*
9. Performs administrative duties for department as assigned.*
10. Assists in MRB and management review meetings as assigned.*
11. Keeps work area in good housekeeping order.
12. Follows safety rules and procedures.
13. Performs audits as assigned.
May be responsible for finishing/assembly duties including, but not limited to; deburring parts by using sander, knife, pin, flat scraper, blue wheel, beartex wheels, and other tools as needed. Cleaning parts. Final visual inspection of parts. Assembly of parts per Work Instructions, including, but not limited to, hardware, helicoils, pins, screws, perform swaging operations, epoxy ink stamping, etc.

Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour
