JBT Corporation is a growing innovative manufacturer that is seeking a Quality Technician to oversee our sheet metal fabrication division.
JBT operates a full-service metal fabrication shop in Grafton, WI, with multiple laser cutters, CNC brake presses, CNC turrets, PEM and welding machines.
Candidates for this position must have the following:
2+ years in a quality assurance role related to Metal Fabrication
experience with maintaining ISO 9001 systems and ensure compliance to functions related to the Quality Management System (QMS)

ability to work with and understand a small-employer, team dynamics
Additional Responsibilities and Requirements of this role are as follows:
Reports to Quality Manager and/or management team
Hourly quality control and inspection of the parts being produced at each machine being operated on the shift
Hourly quality control and inspection of inspection reports and all other job documentation at each machine being operated on the shift
Maintain gage tracking system for gage inventory, calibration schedule and traceability
Assist with development and maintenance of process such as: work instructions, processes, procedures, and control plans, etc.
Assist with completion of customer and supplier PPAP’s
Inspect and tag incoming material for compliance to specification
Identify and document non-conforming material as required
Maintain appropriate quality databases, documents, reports, etc.
Maintain equipment within the quality lab, including cleanliness and organization
In-process off line inspections
Conduct internal ISO 9001: 2015 process and product audits
Conduct gage R&R and Cpk studies
Operation of quality lab equipment, ie. CMM, compression/tensile tester, etc
Adhere to ISO 9001: 2015 policies and procedures
Adhere to operator processes, work instructions and control plans
Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement
Adhere to proper safety precautions, procedures and utilize appropriate PPE
Assist in problem resolution as required

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
