We are seeking a dedicated and detailed-oriented Quality & Inventory Control Associate (QCA) to join our team. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in inventory management and quality assurance while growing your career in a supportive and professional environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance & Control
Inspect inbound products using FDA/USDA guidelines to ensure compliance with company standards.
Identify and document substandard products, including photographing issues for Procurement review.
Monitor and maintain First-In-First-Out (FIFO) protocols, ensuring product integrity.
Manage returned merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and track product errors affecting inventory accuracy.
Dispose of non-compliant products and execute necessary inventory adjustments.
Conduct routine and ad hoc quality inspections to maintain product excellence.
Inventory Control
Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory caused by transfers, repacks, or receiving errors.
Support month-end inventory reconciliation and update Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Perform regular inventory counts, ensure proper slotting of products, and maintain organized stock levels.
Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize losses.
The ideal candidate will possess the following with full training support where needed.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Comfortable handling inventory management software (WMS) and documenting product conditions.
Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Prior experience in quality assurance, inventory control, or food distribution is a plus but not required.
Motorized pallet jack and forklift skills are preferred but not required.
