Position Summary:
This position is responsible for conducting thorough in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards, while also providing support to the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining product excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in hose production, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Documentation
Accurately enter and manage all quality-related data in designated systems.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate quality records.
Support to Quality Assurance Manager
Assist with various quality initiatives and tasks as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager.
In-Process Inspection
Perform daily inspections of hose production processes to verify compliance with quality standards.
Nonconformance Management
Identify, document, and report product or process nonconformities.
Initiate corrective actions when necessary.
Finished Product Inspection
Conduct final inspections to ensure finished products meet all specifications and documentation requirements.
Quantity & Specification Verification
Verify product quantities and ensure conformance to technical specifications prior to shipment.
Tagging & Product Holds
Apply Hold or Reject tags to nonconforming materials or suspect products.
Specification Review
Confirm product specifications for accuracy and completeness.
API Monogram Compliance
Remove API monograms from any nonconforming products as necessary.
Procedures & SOP Compliance
Demonstrate knowledge of relevant procedures and forms.
Follow all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in hose production or a related quality assurance role.
Proficiency in accurate data entry and record-keeping.
Strong understanding of plant operations and hose manufacturing processes.
Preferred Skills & Training (Recommended for Continuing Education)
Excellent collaboration and people skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Auditor training and understanding of audit principles.
Legible handwriting for clear and professional documentation.
Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
Education & Training Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of company onboarding and indoctrination programs.
Successful completion of all safety training requirements.
Demonstrated understanding of the company’s Quality Management System and procedures.
